Home <blank> Home

Finally home and all we have to show for it is a few coconuts from the side of the road....free souvenirs from Florida. Thanks Jerry for grabbing those.

Trip Home

Pretty much ready for several JetBlue flights per year.

Downtown Disney

How bad can the economy be? This is a Tuesday afternoon and every place is packed!

Last Morning

So this is it. Leaving at noon, so one last trip to the pool area. The rest is checking out and doing the airport stuff. Not Fun.

Lizard Hunters

The kids are having fun hunting for lizards. They cant believe how common they are here and can't wait to catch one!

Which flavor?

One of our favorite hotel activities is guessing which water flavor will be in the lobby each morning, cucumber, lemon, lime.. Today was orange.

Florida Soaker

Nothing like getting soaked. Light rain, so we decided to walk back from SeaWorld quickly. Well about 2/3 of the way the sky opened up and 2 min was all it took. Forgot about that part of being in Florida. James decided to dry off and eat last nights dinner.

Night Swimming

It might be 9pm on a school night, but these 3 kids are still high energy. It might as well be Saturday afternoon.

Cypress Gardens

Tucked away in the corner at Lego Land is the Cypress Garden that has been maintained since the old park was here. To make the kids walk through such an exciting plant fest, the area is a scavenger hunt with Lego gnomes hiding throughout. Probably the only way to trick the kids into caring about old trees.

Lego Land

Someone took the time to do this. New York, Vegas, DC, and Daytona all in Lego.

Jupiter Beach

Took a spin down to 33410 and went to the beach with Jerry and Lisa and all the kids. Perfect weather and pretty much how I left it in 2007.

Shamu Highlights

Went to the 6:30 show where they play love music for the whales. Glad we didn't sit in the front. Not just a little splash there.

Best Baby Ever

Aside from refusing to sleep in the pack and play Abbie continues to be the sweetest baby. On her third nap of the day, loves splashing in the pool and waving at everyone!!

Our Second Room

They were going to give us a suite from the getgo but didn't have it until today. Before the kids trash it, here are a couple pics.

Fun Stuff

Kids area, Wild Arctic

Day 3 of Sea World

Those who say you can do the park in 1 day don't have 4 kids. We prefer to split it into 4 3-hour segments. See, we look happy so far...

Sky tower

This one goes 300 feet high and rotates. So you can see for a couple miles in every direction.

How Insensitive

Sea Lion Show

The pirate theme might be a little cheesy but they try to liven it up with adult humor. Kids had fun.

Friday Story

Hello. My name is Ellie. My family is the Gregory family. Here are a few things I have done today.

First, I walked to Seaworld. We saw two shows today. One was the dolphin show. They did lots of cool tricks. They even did some flips in the air! The other one was about two sea lions named Clyde and Seamore. There was a pirate captain and some pirates too! The funny part was when the captain's pants fell down! After,we went back to our hotel and went swimming. Then we went in the hot tub. Then we got into dry clothes and went out to dinner. We went to Olive Garden. First we had breadsticks, and then me and mom shared the veggie and steak plate. Then we went back to the hotel.

The End

Dolphin Theater

Not bad for a quick show. I had no idea dolphins could do so much. They can do backflips, swim upside down, walk on water, and jump about 20 feet high.

Water Park

This is probably worth a pretty penny as part of the hotel cost. Every day an hour of this is enough to tire out the kids.

Another day at the pool

85 degrees in Feb. Global warming is good for vacation, not so good for summer. Other people can live here all year but I am a snowbird already.
